Build an Extraordinary Career with RGIT’s Short Courses
At RGIT, we believe that a person’s future depends on what he does today. Our courses help our students in securing their future and building their career effectively. Our fundamental objective is to provide the students with an environment that would enable them to reach their full potential. RGIT Australia’s short course mentor-trainers provide quality training and relevant industry insight, equipping students with the necessary skills for them to embark on their career. One such short course is the Food Safety course.
RGIT’s Use Hygiene Practices for Food Safety course is nationally accredited unit for people who directly handle food or food contact surfaces. If you handle food preparations and cutlery like plates and bowls during your work then this course is for you. This course provides personal hygiene practices for food handlers to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses. This course also teaches the ability to follow predetermined organisational procedures and the ways to identify and control food hazards.
The students of this RGIT’s course learn to follow hygiene procedures and identify food hazards, report any personal health issues, prevent food contamination and cross-contamination. People who usually complete this course are from the hospitality sector like cooks, chefs, caterers, kitchen stewards, kitchen hands, bar, and food and beverage attendants, and sometimes room attendants and front office staff.
